Spring 2002 Bidwell Park Cleanup
About 70 volunteers participated in the May 18, 2002 cleanup, which was sponsored BEC, the City of Chico, CSUC Environmental Advocates, and A.S. Recycling.

Bidwell Park & Creeks of Chico 2001 Cleanup
Over 170 volunteers helped pull 3.82 tons (7,640 pounds) of trash, 1.25 tons (2,522 pounds) of scrap metal and .6 tons (1,225 pounds) of mixed recycling from Chico creeks and Bidwell Park.

Creeks of Chico 2000 Cleanup
The 11th annual cleanup was organized and hosted by BEC and the focus this year was on Little Chico Creek, Big Chico Creek, and Lindo Channel. Over 140 volunteers pulled 5,280 pounds of trash and 1,700 pounds of recycling from the creeks.
