Donate at Work Through Earth Share

Did you know that you can support Butte Environmental Council (BEC) by simply setting aside a few dollars from your paycheck each month? One of the most simple and efficient ways to donate to BEC is by contributing through Earth Share of California in your workplace charity campaign. Earth Share of California manages environmental giving campaigns in workplaces for environmental and conservation charities, more than 40 national and international organizations.

By contributing to BEC through Earth Share, you may pledge that a small amount of each paycheck be automatically deducted to help protect and preserve California’s wetlands, oak woodlands, and native species. In addition, your payroll deduction contribution can count as your membership to BEC.

You can also help make a big splash at your workplace charity campaign by inviting Earth Share of California and BEC to campaign events. Exciting speakers will bring fun and facts to your workplace while letting your coworkers know how important it is to protect our wetlands and other natural resources for our health and our future. Contact the coordinator of your workplace charity campaign to request a presentation from Earth Share of California and BEC, and spread enthusiasm and awareness around your office during this year’s campaign!
