Looking back... 2020 Meriam Park Drive-in Theater to Celebrate 45 Years

Environmental Film Screening on Tuesday, November 24th from 5:30-8:30 PM

Tickets on Sale Now - Don't Wait!

The Annual BEC Anniversary fundraiser is a time to come together as a community that deeply cares about local, regional, and worldwide environmental issues. This is an opportunity to feel good about the work we have done together, and in our personal lives, to better the health and safety of our shared natural resources. Celebrating 45 years of environmental education, advocacy, and protection is an honor and we want to share it with you on November 24th! We have collaborated with the Meriam Park Drive-in Theater to offer a showing of the film, "This Changes Everything", directed by Avi Lewis, screenplay by Naomi Klein.

The evening will highlight environmental awards on the big screen, a local silent auction in the barn, newly designed BEC t-shirt sales, and beverages and snacks at the concession.

Tickets are $40 per car

50% of all proceeds will go to sustaining BEC's work towards our mission.

More on the Film

"What if confronting the climate crisis is the best chance we’ll ever get to build a better world?
Filmed over 211 shoot days in nine countries and five continents over four years, This Changes Everything is an epic attempt to re-imagine the vast challenge of climate change.
Directed by Avi Lewis, and inspired by Naomi Klein’s international non-fiction bestseller This Changes Everything, the film presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines, from Montana’s Powder River Basin to the Alberta Tar Sands, from the coast of South India to Beijing and beyond.
Interwoven with these stories of struggle is Klein’s narration, connecting the carbon in the air with the economic system that put it there. Throughout the film, Klein builds to her most controversial and exciting idea: that we can seize the existential crisis of climate change to transform our failed economic system into something radically better."
