CAPE Program
CAPE workshops include an interactive presentation, intriguing demonstrations, activities, crafts, and take-home materials. Students will learn what air is composed of, common sources of air pollution, different types of air pollutants, and actions that we can take to protect our health and the environment. Lessons are designed for the following grade level groupings: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12. All learning materials are provided for the workshop as well as additional front-loading and follow-up materials upon booking.
Our goal is to empower participants with knowledge about the importance of healthy air and the many steps we can take towards a more sustainable future.
CAPE workshops last 45 minutes to 1 hour. Please book a workshop for your class, community group, or school assembly at least one week in advance.
Teacher Testimonials
“We have really enjoyed having Emily here. She is always prepared with multimedia presentations, follow-up activities with supplies and even physical games to play! She has been to our school for three different workshops and we have learned and enjoyed each one!”
